3rd Annual
SUMMIT FOR KIDS
Saturday, August 20, 2012

Be a part of Summit for Kids. Summit for Kids is an annual family expo. Parents and children are invited to the John S. Knight Center in downtown Akron to enjoy fun and educational activities, free back-to-school items and more.

The inspiration for Summit for Kids goes back to 2008, when the late Chief Justice Moyer and then Governor Strickland hosted a forum (called Summit on Children) on issues Ohio counties face in providing services for families and children. In light of the challenges discussed, they called on each county to create a task force dedicated to enhancing such services.
