SUMMIT FOR KIDS
Saturday, August 18, 2012
Parents and Kids are invited to attend the Summit for Kids family expo at the John S. Knight Center on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. By bringing your child, you'll be giving him or her an entertaining and educational experience and helping to promote healthy development.
Plans for the day include fun activities, free back-to-school items and other giveaways, special guests and much more, all made possible by generous local organizations. Admission is free, and the list of attractions is still growing.
Local Organizations can have a positive impact on the children who attend Summit for Kids in several ways.
Join us and become a sponsor and/or contribute to our children's programming, education and entertainment by hosting a booth. If your organization is interested in having a booth, please fill out the form and return to Julie Tortora before July 13, 2012.

Volunteers are needed for the Summit for Kids event on Saturday, August 18th. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the form and return to Rashara Walker before August 3, 2012.
Individuals are invited to attend a Professional Symposium at the Akron-Summit Main Library on Friday, August 17, 2012, to address topics that relate to local children. The day will include CLE and CEU credits, as well as a luncheon.
A Special Luncheon hosted by County of Summit Executive Russell M. Pry, County of Summit Children Services Director John Saros and County of Summit Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio will be held at the John S. Knight Center beginning at Noon. The cost for the luncheon is $25.
